Win10 is stupid when it comes to 802.1x. Had the refreshed/updated server running and testing perfectly fine w/ WPA-EAP/MSCHAPv2 so then tested with WPA-EAP/TLS. After that I couldn't connect again after flipping back to MSCHAP. Been fighting with it for almost 2 days trying to figure out wtf. Apparently the problem is windows having kept the cert info, even though I 'forgot' the wifi network, 08:58 <@Mirage> and continuing to try logging in w/ the cert automatically. This morning I fired up my Linux laptop and was able to flip back/forth just fine. 09:53 <@Mirage> amusing.. https://youtu.be/MACYQL-jV-A 09:54 < PigBot> Donald Trump sells a Bible - YouTube (at youtu.be) https://tinyurl.com/2apy36ut 11:58 -!- opticron [~opticron@136.53.157.170] has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds] 12:15 <@Mirage> doh! I thought Star Trek: Discovery was tonight. Just pleasantly surprised to find it on plex 12:34 <@Dagmar> Mirage: I've jsut been arguing with stupid people on Threads about how Windows networking is stuck in the 90s 12:35 <@Dagmar> Some asshat wrote an article compiling all the bullshit stupid people say about Google One's VPN and threw together a shitpost basically claiming GOogle hijacks all your DNS settings 12:35 <@Dagmar> Like, you dumb fucks should try paying attention sometime. WIndows can't do multiple network zones for shit 12:36 <@Dagmar> If they didn't set the DNS servers on _every_ interface to ones that go through the VPN someone's latop would briefly graze an AP and them *blam* new headling "Google One VPN leaks DNS queries! Insecure and unsafe for any purpose!" 12:36 <@Dagmar> Fuckin' imbeciles 12:39 <@Dagmar> Slowly but surely I'm virtualizing this very firewall that i'm running off of 13:35 <@Mirage> https://youtu.be/6VakygzL3hw 13:35 < PigBot> How Madame Web Should Have Ended - YouTube (at youtu.be) https://tinyurl.com/27rkcob3 13:35 <@Mirage> Took them longer than I expected for them to come out w/ that 13:51 <@Dagmar> Interesting. 13:51 <@Dagmar> Slackware (after I finally got it booting as a VM) assigned eth126 and eth127 to the two virtual interfaces 13:53 <@Dagmar> I gotta make some changes to the kernel configuration since discard only passes through virtual SCSI disks 15:01 <@Mirage> LOL..
