17:16 < Evilpig> alright, just got back from seeing the super mario movie.  it wasn't horrible, they actually did some crap with the script/Fx that will speak to life long nintendo gamers our age
17:16 < Evilpig> they had some meta references that were fantastic.  near the beginning of the movie mario leaves the dinner table and goes to his room to play on Kid Icarus on the NES
17:17 < Evilpig> another time they had one of the older models of mario playing the arcade cabinet version of super mario as well.  that was amusing
17:18 < Evilpig> they pulled in characters from nearly every game that mario has ever had a cameo in and it was like a where's waldo kind of thing
