08:29 < Evilpig> These useless half wits....   Original problem their vpn client v5 is named globalprotect, for v6 some genius renamed it to GlobalProtect.  RHEL and varients see those as different products that use the same files so you try to upgrade from 5 -> 6  it fails because of a file conflict.  6 -> 5 which should fail because it's a downgrade but fails because of a conflict.
