10:47 <@Dolemite> Sweet.   Well, both kids are wanting to move back to Farragut schools next year.  The L&N STEM Academy changed up their curriculum starting next year and neither kid likes the options.

If you are currently enrolled and are meeting expectations you keep your seat.  if you are trying to get in then they check to see if you have a sibling there to give preference, then you go into a lottery pool.  lottery is drawn offers are sent out.  if you didn't get an offer you go on a waiting list
10:59 < Evilpig> she was initially 16 on the waiting list then moved to 12 after about a week, since then it hasn't moved and I figured we'd have to wait until the start of hte next school year when they purged the lists but we got lucky
