09:20 < Evilpig> I've worn contacts/glasses since I was 16 so them wanting to dilate my eyes was pretty normal practice, but then i've also had numerous optomitrists over the years tell me my eyes open up like saucers and never really needed to do it
09:20 < Evilpig> just hte last few years with the diabetes have they really started hounding me about it and I instead opt for hte laser imaging and no dilation

09:39 < Evilpig> mine has a big square on the wall half is red the other half is green.  she asked which letters I could read, and I couldn't even tell there were two sides with the colors, just one big blob of nothing

09:41 < Evilpig> no, my vision is just that bad at the short distance it all blobs up.  I have trouble telling certain blues and greens but that isn't supposed to be a normal type of color blindness but it runs in my family, so it's a thing
