They've already determined that only this one server is running the Orace SAP application that handles these job files which are getting hung.  Being logical I asked the app guy if the application connection was configured for persistent or not.  He has no clue and

They're all connecting to the same backend DB and multiple apps are being run in the SAP cluster.   This one is the only one pinned to this one box due to the fact that files are dropped in a queue via sftp on this server.
