07:11 < Evilpig> lots of factors tie into it.  mine are very deeply genetic so the best I can do is control it, make some lifestyle changes and it will be mostly gone but it will come back later in life no matter what I do now

07:14 < Evilpig> on my dad's side they know, they just don't really manage it.  my grandma is in her 80s and regularly in the 300s on her sugars.  my uncle, before he passed, was type 1 and ended up int he hospital from a low spell that lead to a blackout and eventually the loss of his foot, that eventually ended his life about 6 months later
