10:40 < Evilpig> I've lost my mind.  someone tell me wtf is going on.  icmp from x.x.x.253 -> x.x.x.245 works fine.   tcp/udp from x.x.x.253 -> x.x.x.245 times out.  checking tcpdump I see retransmission errors all over the place.  I was thinking firewall but .245 doesn't have one and I temporarily disabled the firewall on .253

14:32 < Evilpig> I can't explain it.  that was a lxc container thing in proxmox and best I can figure is when I provisioned it out years ago it asked for the IP and I punched it in and it didn't balk about a missind subnet and made it /32?  best guess i've got
