Apparently they all get the school lunch, but I've found a pretty good Butter Chicken recipe that my daughter likes, so whenever I make it at home, I make enough for her to take leftovers to school the next day. What you use just depends on what you're familiar with and if you are familiar with multiple languages/methods, which one would be easier for whatever you're trying to solve

19:20 <@Mirage_> I personally do the vast majority of stuff in bash.  If I need to scale some shell script up then I leverage perl...especially if I want/need to do multitreading to get it done more quickly.  Perl is also my normal go-to when I need to parse through a shitload of log files, etc.

For database stuff I flip between perl/php, depending on what I need to do with it.  Ruby is native for puppet, so I try to stick with that when I can for building puppet modules.  I haven't had to do RH Satellite automation in a while, but it used to be python based, so typically that's what I'd
