It's been amusing so far. 07:37 -!- decius [~decius@108-210-180-90.lightspeed.tukrga.sbcglobal.net] has joined #se2600 07:42 <@Dolemite> I will likely check out the Beboppin' Cowboy soon, as well 08:13 <@Dolemite> Mirage_: Are you bothering with the Wheel of Time series? 08:17 <@Mirage_> yeah. Not horrible so far, but not a big fan of the cast for the most part, though 08:18 <@Dolemite> Having never read the books, it's a little confusing... I figure once the full season is released I'll go back and rewatch it 08:18 < aestetix> That's the series with like 30 books that are a thousand pages long, right? 08:19 <@Dolemite> aestetix: There are a lot of books in the series, yeah 08:23 < Evilpig> I didn't care for the opening of bebop, but the rest has been pretty solid. I was hoping for a different story from the anime or some extension to it but it is what it is. been good so far 08:24 <@Dagmar> ...and all of which were boring 08:25 <@Dagmar> They were like playing an extra-dialog DLC edition of FFVI with dialog set to extra-full. 08:26 <@Dagmar> Maybe it was VII, the one where Yuna won't shut her yap 08:27 <@Mirage_> Dolemite: I can see where having not read the books could be a bit confusing. 08:32 <@Mirage_> Dagmar: The first 4-5 books weren't so bad on the overspecific tangents, the next few where his daughter was helping were annoying and prompted a lot of skipping a page here and there, the last ones where Sanderson took over to complete weren't bad 08:33 <@Dagmar> I read four of them before I quit becasue there was nothing important happening 08:37 <@Mirage_> One of the main problems with the series, IMO, was that he had so many "main" characters and had them split up so much that there were many chapters and almost complete books which hardly mentions some character. Then everythign will shift in next chapter/book where it's the catchup of all the stuff that happened to that one did while the others were doing the other stuff. 08:40 <@Mirage_> The first time through it confuses the continuity of the story, especially in some places. After you've read all of them through it makes a lot more sense when you re-read them. 10:06 -!- decius [~decius@108-210-180-90.lightspeed.tukrga.sbcglobal.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 10:46 < Evilpig> useless scene twats. https://www.thetvdb.com/series/masters-of-the-universe-revelation 10:46 < PigBot> Masters of the Universe: Revelation - TheTVDB.com (at www.thetvdb.com) https://tinyurl.com/yk6jwzo3 10:46 < Evilpig> kevin smith's he-man was very much done in two parts but it's one season and those cunts are trying to make it two seasons 11:10 -!- Dolemite_ [~scott@user/dolemite] has joined #se2600 11:10 -!- mode/#se2600 [+o Dolemite_] by ChanServ 11:16 -!- Netsplit *.net <-> *.split quits: @Dolemite, @Dagmar 11:24 -!- Dagmar [~dagmar@c-69-247-146-235.hsd1.tn.comcast.net] has joined #se2600 11:24 -!- Dagmar [~dagmar@c-69-247-146-235.hsd1.tn.comcast.net] has quit [Changing host] 11:24 -!- Dagmar [~dagmar@user/dagmarx] has joined #se2600 11:24 -!- mode/#se2600 [+o Dagmar] by ChanServ 13:10 -!- decius [~decius@108-210-180-90.lightspeed.tukrga.sbcglobal.net] has joined #se2600 15:02 -!- DrArkaneX [~doc@38.142.96.90] has joined #se2600 15:09 -!- decius [~decius@108-210-180-90.lightspeed.tukrga.sbcglobal.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 250 seconds] 15:11 -!- DrArkaneX [~doc@38.142.96.90] has quit [Changing host] 15:11 -!- DrArkaneX [~doc@user/drarkanex] has joined #se2600 19:37 <@Mirage_> I really should have taken a pic to post on FB, but just got back from running to Kroger. I need a small clip for a trim/moulding piece on the honda for my brother. FINALLY found a site in Japan that claims they have them. Part: $2.82, shipping: $29.52 21:41 <@Dagmar> Hey you could 3D print one for probably only $35 in materials and time 21:47 <@Mirage_> I don't have a complete one or even a good pic of an unbroken one. Already dug around on thingiverse and couldn't find one anyone had posted --- Log closed Thu Nov 25 00:00:50 2021
