Not any classes per se, right now anyway, pretty much do what you want and the weapon/armor you have equipped determines what you can do.  Can't do gear swapping if any special abilities you've unlocked  are on cooldown, but you

I've only been switching between bow and sword/shield, but I would assume that you could switch between melee and caster if you wanted, though the armor bonuses would be largely useless for one or the other if you did that.
