07:42 < Evilpig> goes back to something I read yesterday about a guy telling a story from when he was a younger and set his parent's house on fire making fries on the stove.  the insurance company tried to screw the family over because they didn't have any other recourse and the dad realized that he could sue his own kid for negligence and his home owners policy would have to pick up the tab
07:42 < Evilpig> he did, and the insurance company immediately stopped trying to dick him around and settled fairly then reworded their policies to prevent that in the future
