10:07 <@Mirage_> I'd tried out vSAN in my lab and then removed it.  Even though it was gone, the autogenerated Eval license remained and kept annoying me with the "expired licenses" pop-up.  You couldn't delete it normally via the GUI, and I'd tried the CLI method with no luck, but this worked.

14:14 < Evilpig> oh wow.  ffs.  so we're about to take over another hospital and in this meeting we're discussing plans.  apparently on the new site they have two top of rack switches that are just 100% dead and they're ignoring it.  one of the hosts in their vsphere cluster is completely unresponsive and nobody knows why but they think hardware.  another esx host has all the hard drives failed so it has no OS support, just what it has in memory right now so it can't be rebooted. they're trying to migrate hosts off of that disaster
