They have a tendency to dry out before cooking all the way through otherwise since they come frozen and I just pull them out of the packaging and toss them in.  Tried it by letting them thaw in the fridge for a couple days and it didn't make too much improvement in moistness.

Wrapped 3 and kept basting the other 3 w/ bbq sauce every 1/2hr or so trying to see if the skin would stay soft instead of turning into leather.  Wrapped ones were good for the most part, basted ones were still like leather so the sauce was pointless as it was only on the skin that was laregly inedible.
