18:47 <@Evilpig> well that was an event.  made the mistake of telling homeassistant to upgrade and it lost its fuckin' mind because I was still running python 3.6 and they wanted python3.7 back in december 2019
18:48 <@Evilpig> the vm it was on was ubuntu 18.04 and it didn't have anything higher than python 3.6 so I told it to upgrade to 20.04 and then had to upgrade the virtualenvironment, reinstall whatever random ass plugins I had forgotten about, then .... god damnit. I had to get all the shit out of my config that was no longer supported
