22:31 <@Mirage> Synx_hm: when comcrap first took over for intermedia they wouldn't give out static IP's for residential, but noticed that my IP was switching between two different ones (in different subnets) on alternating weeks...so I blocked one of the DHCP servers on my firewall and had a static.  =)
22:34 <@Mirage> As to frontier...I never had any issues with mine at the old house.   The speed was technically slower than my cable is here at the new house, but it seemed faster at least most of the time because it was symmetric and guaranteed bandwidth.
