18:59 < Evilpig_> wtf.  that's twice now one of my servers just fell off the network for seemingly no reason.  couldn't ping it, server showed the interface up, the switch showed the interface up.  tried changing switch ports and still wouldn't come back to life,  rebooted and it worked.  nothing in dmesg, or in messages.  any ideas?
