08:14 <@Evilpig> aestetix, ezelkow1: that's because plex uses a scraper that you tell what content is in a directory.  You can tell it to use a movie scraper on a tv directory and it would find it just fine but you're gonna waste alot of cpu time while it tries to figure out what is what that way.

15:16 < TheDukh_> it's able to be muted, but, once any adjustment is made, it stays within the same sound level.  You can modify the individual sound settings in the system and it'll change the way it sounds, but nothing concrete with volume
