Going onto the proxmox host and disabling TSO and GSO for the interface fixed it, so I've done that on mine and am now running the clock to see if it will go more than a week without a lockup. 08:49 <@Evilpig> k. I haven't had the issue recently but if that fixes it that would be great 08:50 <@Dolemite> It's also backed up advice from RedHat based on some similar issues with kvm, which of course, is the heart of proxmox 08:50 <@Evilpig> right 08:52 <@Evilpig> so that needs to be turned off ont he bridge interface or the physical nic? 08:52 <@Dolemite> both, according to the article 08:53 <@Dolemite> I did it on all interfaces 08:53 <@Evilpig> seems that the bridge interface would get it turned on again after a reboot and the interface was built again 08:54 < Synx_hm> Dolemite, i virtualize my pfsense in ESXi 6.5 but i also had to turn off TSO and LRO otherwise it would induce large performance drops 08:56 <@Dolemite> So even more corroboration 08:57 <@Evilpig> i'm not denying. I just want to make sure once I set it, it stays set 08:57 <@Evilpig> reading this it sounds exactly like the issues I was seeing 08:57 <@Dolemite> yeah, I'm interested in that, too 08:57 <@Dolemite> don't want to have to remember to do it after every reboot 08:57 <@Evilpig> https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ganeti/mPnPasGhJdY 08:58 <@Evilpig> htis looks right 08:58 < PigBot> Google Groups (at groups.google.com) http://tinyurl.com/4kcmbx7 08:58 <@Evilpig> but will need more digging later. I gotta get down to sungard to go troubleshoot a power supply 08:58 < aestetix> good god aws is shitty 08:59 <@Dolemite> Ah, to make persistent you need to put it into something like /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-post 09:12 < Synx_hm> either of you using haproxy on pfsense? 09:13 <@Dolemite> Not me 09:13 <@Dolemite> I don't think pig uses pfSense 09:13 < Synx_hm> k thanks :) 09:30 -!- strages [uid11297@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-pwfjvlzoljaaemug] has joined #se2600 09:53 <@Evilpig> Dolemite is correct.
